Computer Aided Design System


In 1987, Piqua Granite became the first company in our area to have an "in-house" computer design system called "Monu-Cad"®. We purchased this system from the Jim Falvino owner of Monumental Computer Applications, in Cherry Valley, NY. 

Our "Monu-Cad"® system contains thousands of "components" such as flowers, religious emblems, fraternal, sports activities and civic organization emblems and more. These "components" can be used individually, or put together with other "components" to create a unique design for a family memorial. The "Monu-Cad"® system also contains many alphabet fonts from which a family can choose.

Piqua Granite has an "in-house" Staff Artist who has added an enormous amount of Piqua Granite's Design Legacy to the "Monu-Cad"® system. Since Piqua Granite has operated continuously since 1882, our compilation of designs are the envy of many other memorialists. 

In addition our artist can create new designs that reflect the memory of your loved one. Each "Classic" memorial becomes a reflection of your loved one.

People were not created with a "cookie cutter" and neither should their memorial.
